Bestiary Secrets

The Order of the Pike keeps extensive records on all monsters encountered by its members, from habitat and tracks to abilities and weaknesses. When you succeed on a Survival check to Track a monster, you also automatically learn one of the following pieces of information about it, as if you had succeeded on a Recall Knowledge check: its highest weakness, its highest resistance, any immunities, or its lowest saving throw. You choose which piece of information you learn but can choose a different piece of information if your first choice isn't applicable (such as if it has no weaknesses or resistances). In addition, when you roll initiative for an encounter that includes the monster you're Tracking, it's Off-Guard against you until the end of your first turn.
