Know I Approach

You can enact a short ritual to haunt prey you've singled out. Once per day during your daily preparations, you can take 10 minutes to target a creature whose name you know (and who is within 100 miles). Upon completion of the ritual, the target immediately knows you are seeking them out and must attempt a Will save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher. If you have never met the target, it gains a +4 circumstance bonus to the save.

---

Critical Success The target knows of your intent, but is otherwise unaffected. The target becomes temporarily immune to this ritual for 1 week.

Success The target is wracked by a sense of dread at your approach. The next time the target sees you before your next daily preparations, they become Frightened 1.

Failure As success, but the target becomes Frightened 2 when they see you. They also become Fatigued by the impending terror for 10 minutes after you perform this ritual.

Critical Failure As failure, but the target is Drained 1 for as long as it is fatigued.
