Rage of the Sky Father
COMPLEX HAZARD 8 +18 (expert)
Ominous storm clouds gather overhead, pulsating with flashes of blue-white lightning.
DC 23 Religion (trained) to petition Gozreh for safe passage or DC 28 Arcana, DC 28 Nature, or DC 28 Occultism (expert) to disperse the storm's magical energies. A PC whose voice is exceptionally loud (such as using the Bullhorn cantrip) can also attempt to Disable this hazard with a DC 25 Diplomacy check to convince the Gozren priests that they mean no harm; the priests make a second prayer to dissipate the hazard on the following round, though they're unable to stop the sargassum heaps.
Thunderclap (divine, sonic)
A creature not designated by Katlanthe approaches within 10 feet of the circle of stone columns
The storm clouds release a boom of thunder. Creatures atop the plateau take 2d10+9 sonic damage (DC 26 basic Fortitude save). On a critical failure, the creature is also Deafened for 1d4 rounds. The hazard rolls initiative.
(1 action) (divine, electricity) A bolt of lightning strikes a 10-foot burst atop the plateau of the GM's choosing. Creatures in the area take 2d10+9 electricity damage (DC 28 Reflex save). On a critical failure, the creature is also Stunned 1. Creatures designated by Katlanthe within the area are infused with divine energy for 1 round. They gain the electricity trait and immunity to electricity damage, and all their attacks deal an additional 1d6 electricity damage.
Effect: Rage of the Sky Father
The storm clouds disperse once no creature other than those designated by Katlanthe are atop the plateau.
