Sudden Geysers

COMPLEX HAZARD 10
Stealth +17 (expert)
Description The pooling seawater burbles and hisses.

Disable DC 32 Arcana or DC 32 Nature (master) to dissipate the fire-aligned energies in the water, or DC 28 Diplomacy or DC 28 Religion to beseech Sangeh and convince her to momentarily tamp down her mythic power; two successes are required to disable the hazard

Scalding Gout (fire, water)
Trigger A creature within the hazard's area rolls initiative

Effect A enormous column of superheated steam rises from the water, dealing 4d12+26 fire damage to all creatures in the area (DC 28 basic Reflex save). On a critical failure, the creature also takes 1d12 persistent fire damage as the water continues to burn their skin. The hazard then rolls initiative.
Blistering Plume

A 30-foot-tall geyser erupts from the boiling water. Creatures in a 5-foot emanation of the geyser take 2d12+13 fire damage (DC 30 basic Reflex save).

Routine (2 actions) The hazard uses each of its actions to create a Blistering Plume centered on a space chosen by the GM. Each successful check to disable the hazard removes one action from this routine.
