Devil's Trap

Sometimes known as catching powder or simply "the catch," this silvered powder was devised to slow the pursuit of House Thrune's fiendish servants. The powder is activated by scattering it in an unoccupied adjacent square. If a devil attempts to translocate to a destination within 30 feet of this square, the powder attempts to counteract the spell with a counteract rank of 3 and a counteract modifier of +13. Regardless of the result, the devil's trap is consumed, but if it succeeds at the counteract attempt, the affected devil can't use actions with the teleportation trait for 1 minute.
