The shaft of a wormhole shot gleams like polished ebony and seems to be not quite straight; nevertheless, this ammunition flies true. When an activated wormhole shot hits a target, which can be an unoccupied square, it embeds itself and remains active for up to 1 minute. A creature can Interact to dislodge the ammunition, but it remains active unless the creature spends another Interact action to destroy it.

Once during the wormhole shot's duration, if you're within 60 feet of it, you can use it as the point of origin for a spell or ranged attack, calculating range and cover from whatever space the wormhole shot is in. After being used this way, it quickly dissolves into black dust.
