Success The creature takes half damage.

Failure The creature takes full damage. If the creature has the ooze, unholy, or water trait, it also takes (the item's level)d4 persistent spirit damage.

Critical Failure The creature takes double damage, and double persistent damage if it has the ooze, unholy, or water trait.

Heightened (+1) The acid damage increases by 2d4, and the persistent damage on a failure increases by 1d4.
