Effect The enfiron makes a spike Strike against the triggering creature. If the enfiron is under the effects of Change Shape, the Strike deals piercing damage regardless of their appearance. If the target fails the saving throw against enfiron venom, it's afflicted at stage 2. The enfiron also attempts a Deception check, comparing the result to the Perception DCs of all creatures that can see the attack (excluding the target). On a success, that creature is unaware of the attack.

Speed 40 feet
Melee Spike +29 (agile, finesse, magical, unholy), Damage 3d6+12 piercing plus Enfiron Venom
Change Shape (concentrate, divine, polymorph)

The enfiron can take the appearance of any Small or Medium humanoid. This doesn't change their Speed or their attack and damage modifiers with their Strikes but might change the damage type their Strikes deal (typically to bludgeoning).

The monster changes its shape indefinitely. It can use this action again to return to its natural shape or adopt a new shape. Unless otherwise noted, a monster cannot use Change Shape to appear as a specific individual. Using Change Shape counts as creating a disguise for the Impersonate use of Deception. The monster's transformation automatically defeats Perception DCs to determine whether the creature is a member of the ancestry or creature type into which it transformed, and it gains a +4 status bonus to its Deception DC to prevent others from seeing through its disguise. Change Shape abilities specify what shapes the monster can adopt. The monster doesn't gain any special abilities of the new shape, only its physical form. For example, in each shape, it replaces its normal Speeds and Strikes, and might potentially change its senses or size. Any changes are listed in its stat block.

Enfiron Venom (poison)
Saving Throw DC 34 Fortitude
Maximum Duration 6 rounds
Stage 1 6d6 poison damage and Stupefied 1 (1 round)
Stage 2 7d6 poison damage, Stupefied 2, and unable to speak (1 round)
Stage 3 8d6 poison damage, stupefied 2, unable to speak, and must hold its breath or suffocate (1 round)
Hidden Wounds (divine, illusion)

Any wounds the enfiron inflicts, even from spells, appear to be instantly but superficially mended, as if no violence took place against the target. A creature attempting to Treat Wounds on a victim must first disbelieve the illusion (DC 31 Perception check) or take a –2 circumstance penalty to the check. If a creature fails a check to Treat Wounds without first disbelieving the illusion, they get a critical failure instead.
